Before my new snakes from Scott arrive I thought I'd post pictures of last years acquisitions... pictures from minutes ago compared to when they first arrived. I recently told Mr.Ballard they were both around 32" in length... just took better measurements and both are in fact a little over 36".

I posted pics at 6 months for each of them and made note of the fact that the female had three new scales that seemingly appeared after one of her sheds(those new scales can be seen on the third red ring back). Doug mentioned that those scales would probably become tipped like the others over time... as much as I hate to say it ... he's right, the tipping on those three scales can clearly be seen in her newest photo. Also interesting (at least to me) is the scales at 6 months don't quite line up with the others along the diagonal but as you can see they now do. Hopefully the scales will stop migrating.

I'm liking these babies as much today as when I first got them... thanks yet again Scott!

Haven't forgotten the great Black Milk from you Rob... new photos will be coming up soon... his changes over the last year are just as dramatic.

Very nice Gerry!

It's great to still be able to see some genuine polyzona in the hobby that are not compromised with anything else in their lineage, as well as some of the other types that typically get muddied-up with other subspecies. You did very well by going to a great source such as Scott. He most definitely has some great examples of authentic subspecies.

Super nice, Gerry! Those are some excellent looking critters. What do you have coming from Scott?! Whatever they are, I bet they'll be nice!

Thanks again Dave, I'll do that. I was surprised myself as to just how much they have changed... you see them every day and it seems the white bands are just as prominent as always... the change wasn't obvious until I started putting the post together and had the pics right in front of me.
