I been trying to breed my female ball to my male black blood, and never seen a lock but they have been house to together for along time now, and one day i came home and she had shed and was a totally different color, looked like a diffent snake it was extreme, she looks like a hypo or ghost now, Some people say its the gravid glow and other say I.M.G. Ball python , Can some give me some ideals , She is acting gravid aways looking for heat, in vert herself sometimes , im just not sure

People used to call them changing balls, but seems to be a skin reaction to ammonia build up/bad air.
It will get darker and darker from now on, and some yellow color will come in, wont ever look the same, but its nothing genetic.

why a male short tail to a female ball? id think the other way around would be better....

seems that color change has happened on several occasions, the general concencus is that it generally reverts to normal within a few sheds

could be "the glow" but that spotty patch on the neck makes me think otherwise
