My newest milks

gerryg Oct 20, 2011 05:47 PM

Two beautiful females this year. The first two pics are of the same snake... my pipe dream l.t. abnorma. The last two photos are again the same snake... my other pipe dream l.t.hondurensis, she is the offspring of wild caught parents from central Nicaragua and provided to me by Scott Ballard. Coming from the central portion of their range it's unlikely she is what is so often referred to as "hobby hondo's.

I went with two females this year simply to have the females of the two Central American ssp's I really wanted to have get a bit of a head start over the males...

Once again, as was the case last year, I can't adequately express just want a pleasure it was to deal with Scott... he goes out of his way in my opinion to provide you with pertinent information and photos of what you're interested in.

Long and short... if he has what you want, I wouldn't look any further than him to satisfy those wants.

Btw Scott... that last photo of the hondo, the one of her in my hand... is just for you... her teeth and my hand have yet to be intruduced... just might spend that dime tomorrow.

Gerry, those are sweet. Must be good to know you have some "real deal" animals.

Thanks Joe... it is rather nice especially with the hondo. I'm fortunate that the paths of the one guy that seems to own so many pure animals and mine have crossed.

Thanks Rusty... yes she is sweet. Scott sends pics of all his available snakes for you to choose from and as soon as I saw the pic of her with the near perfect banding and the yellowish first "white" ring I knew I'd be getting two females this year instead of the pair of abnormas that I was really looking for... hopefully both his adult pairs will co-operate and produce males for me next year!

Congrats Gerry! I think those are awesome! Really cool to work with abnorma. And real hondos? Really cool. Get a male and get at it so the rest of us can enjoy them as well!

Thanks Dave, males are next year. Really liked these two females so couldn't pass them up.

Sure there are others out there, while I was on Scott's list I wasn't at the top of the list. Hopefully others will work with them as well.

my grand total "number of posts" I'll go with;

Thanks Doug, yes it is fortunate for me Scott's path and mine have crossed, along with being a great guy to know and deal with he also seems to have everything in milks I want.

Thanks Cole, I think I've answered your question about what's next haven't I?

Thanks Joe... for the compliment and the well wishes with them down the road... I always worry that something will go wrong with the snakes in my care... and if you've read past posts of mine... I'm also a big fan of the heavy black tipping.

Gerry! My question has been answered! Really nice critters, both of 'em. Congrats on the pick-ups!
