Is he to old?

1nstinct Oct 22, 2011 10:21 AM

I have a male 100% het albino, and been looking to possibly buy a female albino to breed. My male is 8-9 years old I purchased him as a baby at the narbc pa show years ago, so is he to old to breed or just buy a het pair?
Thanks for the help in advance
Tom

No he is not....they live up to 40 years and as long as he is healthy he should breed.

that has been there since the early 1960s that came in as a young adult. She actually laid a clutch a few years ago after not being with a male for 8 years.

10 is not old for a ball python. I have a big old girl that I got a couple years ago and they told me she was probably 8 to 10 years old at the time. She is over 3200gms and lays nice 10 egg clutches.

I had a 21 yr old female lay a clutch for me this year!
