Anery Anticipations...

boaphile Oct 23, 2011 02:43 PM

Does anybody remember this litter born here April 27, 2007?

The Momma is the original "Church Anery" girl that brought us one of the best bloodlines of Anerys out there. The father was a more than worthy Ghost produced by Will Slough. Together they made some of the BEST Anerys and Ghosts I have ever produced.

I think this is one of the males:

This is one of the females.

Remember these crazy shots?

What do you know Joe AKA Ace of Snakes has an Ivory Anery from this litter he is always showing off.

Last year the two Ghost males that I kept from this litter were willing and able. I bred one of them to this girl:

She looked like she might be an Anery but proved not to be. So a good litter but nothing visually mind boggling. The other little guy was charged with breeding this female Ghost:

This picture was taken two years ago when she ovulated after being bred relentlessly by my original Key West Male. Sadly she had a Partho litter. Well the little Ghost male that was ordered to breed this girl in the 2010-2011 season failed at this task. So now she has a bit more weight and hopefully we will be fortunate to see an entire litter of off the chart chalky white Ghosts and Anerys in 2012. I can only hope right? She has a sister too by the way. Her sister is now just as big as her. They could be virtually identical twins. I'm not 100% sure what I will try to breed her with this season. We shall see.

My season last year in the Anery department was concentrating on getting my several Jungles and Hypo Jungles Het Anery to make some Jungle Ghosts and Anerys with the few female Anerys and Ghosts I had save two. The Church Anery female was bred by the original Key West male but unfortunately passed away about two weeks into the never ending ovulation. It just would not stop and eventually she died as a result. The other was the Ghost I described above. Other than that, I really wanted one of these guys to make some great chalky Jungle kiddies for me.

So anyhow, in anticipation of these boys all being more mature and more likely to be successful, I have been preparing the two female Church Ghosts as well as several other premium quality Anery girls for this season. All Ivory Anery girls that were produced here in the past five years or so. Raised slowly and between 5-6' now. Not monsters by any means, but nice first time Momma sized Colombian girls.

So anyhow, I sure hope to see a few more Anerys, Ghosts and other combos from this seasons gray-scale lineup. Maybe I'll be fortunate to get a little Anery going with the Key West kiddies too if I can get them to cooperate for me. LOL I can hardly wait for the Spring of 2012 to bring me lost and lost of goo to clean out from under my little finger nails again.

Interesting I was just thinking about this yesterday and last night. How will the Anery Key West Boas look ???

It will be fun to watch the process, I'm very excited about this breeding season with the Boaphile.

Mainly because he is not entirely certain who to breed with who.

I see now this could be the year of the Anery Boa !!!
