Well its about time!

Came home from Chicago this evening and found that Navy had moved to her moss tub and dropped her litter. I thought for sure she would have her babies in August... so you can guess I've been pulling my hair out waiting for her. I was WWAAAYYY off apparently! At least she left cleanup easy for me!

Total of 14 live babies, with no stills or slugs. Initial sexing of a nice even 7.7 ratio, but will verify after they shed.

Unfortunately no Pearls or Bullseyes, but I did get a few with some interesting neck patterns.

This is the second litter I have produced from a Hypo x Pearl cross. As far as I know, I have the only Pearl line het Hypo babies in existence... but I think Dave will produce some this year too.

One female to go! Though I think she is several months out yet.

Congrats, love the series of pics showing how you found them, reminds me so uch of my setup, Hmmm, wonder where you got the idea from?

Maybe no Bullseyes or Pearls but I see some serious crescents in those babies!!!

I do have some pearl x hypo babies due next month.

Also, even keeping records does not always tell me which shed is the POS. On several females each year I have to shift to a "new" due date when the first passes by with nothing.

Really cute fat little babies there. This seems to be the year of long gestation and overdue litters. I am waiting on three that I thought would lay their litters in september.
