My litter of Brazilian Rainbow Boas shed over the last several days and wow, they look even better. Any suggestions what to call them?

With a normal BRB for comparison

ZO-ZI-1102 Female

ZO-ZI-1103 Male

ZO-ZI-1104 Male

ZO-ZI-1105 Female

I have a couple of odd names.

How about "real-rainbows" -since the sides of the snakes look like an actual rainbow with different colored stripes at each level

Or

"Strain-bows" -short for striped rainbows.

Just a thought.

Will you be debuting them at the Sacramento show this weekend? We would really love to see them.

When I first saw your post I should a buddy of mine who is a huge rainbow fan, a link to your post he Freaked Out!! He said they look like super tiger's of the Retic's. They do kinda look like that in a funny sort of way! =) Those are a true sight to behold.

i have no clue why I wrote down should I meant showed sorry LOL.
Tiger rainbows and super Tiger Rainbows would be my name for them.

There are two different forms of lightning right? The second group look just like Tiger Retics. So much that it looks like someone designed the Rainbow version of a Tiger Retic.

The first group I think is harder.

Decisions decisions...

Dave, those things are so over the top, i'm thinking you call 'em
"OVER THE RAINBOWS!"

AnnaCB Oct 25, 2011 12:22 PM

I think you should call them "Oz" rainbows.
As someone mentioned earlier, they're 'over the rainbow', I think that'd be the next logical step!

I have no idea... but those are killer. Congrats again.

Hi Dave,

I like the name Tiger Rainbow Boa and Super Tiger Rainbow Boa as I do agree with the others that they do look some what like the tiger retics.

I would say the ones that look like number ZO-ZI-1101 Male are a super tiger Rainbow Boas.

Then the ones that look like ZO-ZI-1103 Male are the tiger Rainbow Boas.

Here are a few tiger retics so you can get an idea of what everyone is thinking.

This one is a sunfire tiger retic.

These last 3 retics belong to Jason Gaspar but the pics belong to me.

This one is a Platinum fire super tiger retic.

This one is a super tiger retic.

Take care

and piggyback the term "tiger". You made these spectacular Rainbows. be original. Go with "OZ"

Whats wrong with calling them striped rainbow boa's? I do like the name tiger rainbow boa but in the end they are striped. why not keep it simple and call it what it is? They are striped. Great animals don't need a name to market them. The animals are awesome enough to sell themselves.
