Nice.Looks like pattern will be chocolate.Did you saw or ask about parents, are they striped? THANK YOU Sergei

I didnt get much info on the parents other then the female had nice red to her. The male was a loner from a friend. I got them from Fredrick Hall on here. He is selling for his friend Jim who is not computer friendly so I mainly only got pics of the babies. They have already eaten in the red back seems to be getting brighter.
I almost like them as much as my western conda and they nicer IMO then my "purple" hog.

Those are nice litle southerns. I have a nice group myself, & I've got to say I think they are the nicest looking hogs arround. Congrats!, & Good luck with them.

Hey Dan,
How do you have your southerns setup? Mine are still very tiny. About a month old but I think they will be some lookers.

daneby Nov 04, 2011 11:38 AM

My southerns are in freedom breeders with completely vented tops (like all of my hogs) & 3" heat tape across one side. The tape is set at 88 & the room is in the mid to upper 70s. The substrate I use now is a mix of peat moss & sand, & of course they have a water dish.
