Mike, that seriously may be the best blairs I have ever seen!
Why can't I seem to find them that look like that?!! LOL!!!!

Wow, Mike. That is one clean, crisp blairs! The colors are intense and pure. It's easy to see why you held him back.

A question -- how strongly heritable do you find such beautiful characteristics to be? In your experience, would breeding that male with a similarly colored female yield a clutch of babies that would look basically like the parents, or do you still get a significant fraction of less impressive babies mixed in with clutch? Just curious . . .

Thanks,

Tom

P.S. Keep posting, please! I never tire of looking at beautiful reptiles.

First off, thanks for the kind words Tom!

I usually pair him with my best blairs females and produce nice similar looking offspring.. Of course some have a broken band or three, but there is always a few that are nice and clean like the yearling below...

I will post another pic of a full clutch that he produced as well..

Hope you're doing well,

And, here is another hatchling that was produced by the male in my first post.. This one is almost a exact photocopy of his dad..

This male is an adult now and will be breeding for the first time this season.
