This girl....affectionately known as Blink.......is 14 months and is in one of my large tanks with adults females.....I always keep a laying box in the tank and she has seen several females dig and lay in that box.....well, I did my periodic freshening of the box, Blink has not been mated nor is she seeming to be ready to lay infertile eggs.....but when I put the freshened box in she headed for it and bug for an hour and then stuck her head out, proud as she could be....no eggs but a great practice hole nonetheless....gotta love her!

her practice and be perfected first!
Maybe she should instruct some potential breeders that learning what your doing first before you take the leap is a smart thing
BTW, lovely gal there too!
