Debating with myself...

medyssa Nov 03, 2011 09:20 PM

An argument with oneself seems so futile.....and it kinda makes you feel like you need crazy pills...

Anyway, I have been out of the loop here for a while, but due to some very exciting news about some babies I produced as well as better circumstances in my life, I have been contemplating for a year or so about breeding again.

I have my one proven adult female that I would like to breed again and I have the resources to get setup for this coming season. I might start a few weeks late, but I am pondering what to do about acquiring an adult male.

I have seen some of the ads here in the classifieds section, and I have to say, they look quite dismal as far as pattern and coloring. More like WC than CBB. That kinda makes me want to wait until I can find something nice. But my female is ready to go....

Decisions....Any helpful input? Suggestions?
To entertain, here are pictures of my two females, sorry, not recent.

I have a 2006 proven breeder male I am looking to sell. He is a Will Bird specimen and is very nice in both temperment and color/pattern. He is ready to breed and thinks he is getting a shot at it this year, but I just don't have another female for him!!!
