My bearded dragon

I have my bearded dragon IT is doing great!! He is 12inches long now Is it time for sand in the cage?? I have newspaper now can I put sand in it now?? ok thanks

I would say yes. Do however, monitor him and see if he shows an interest in eating it. If you do see him constantly eating or tasting it then remove it. Some tasting is normal so you are going to have to use your judgment on that.

Substrate type is very controversial and you will hear many views. Keep in mind, there is no "Perfect" substrate. You have to find what works best for your setup, dragon, and you.
