It's been awhile

Just a quick photo of Garnet in her favorite position as my armband. She's hanging out while I type, though the occasional jostle gets a tongue-flick. She's actually the calmest of my snakes - the other two won't hang out with me like she does. Other two boids I should say - the ribbon snakes are what I call snakelets rather than "proper snakes"

She's lovely! Sorka actually likes to be in the same position on me when I've got her out. ^..^

My husband hasn't been home yet, and won't be until he graduates his class Thanksgiving week... I'll have him take some of her then, I promise.

Nice picture, I like the iridescence on the head. Snakelets? Jack would calls them snacks.

Seriously, let's see some pics of the ribbon snakes.

What subspecies of Ribbon Snakes do you have? I have caught nitae and sackeni and kept and bred sackeni. Cute little bitty baby snakes.

I feel like an idiot saying this, but maybe you can help me figure that out. The guys at the reptile store didn't know! I'll try to get some pictures of them this weekend. They don't have dorsal striping past the head, and on one of them the lateral stripes are bluiish. They're funny little guys.

The University of Florida Museum of Natural History website is good.

I suspect blue-striped ribbons. I don't have a ton of great pictures, but I have this video: http://youtu.be/reCL8PRZVsY and my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cynfamonster/sets/72157627471534019/
