Congrats, Tim!
I'm just glad she made it alive and healthy. She looks alert, too.
Is that a 2010?
If you get a sec, could you take a shot from the top to show the pattern?
The sides look great!
Congrats again and thanks for sharing her!

Many breeders will not use heat packs. Pillow case , T shirt , sock ? not sure why that would matter. Great looking snake !
IDK why someone would opt not to use a heat pack, but to each their own, the snake made it here alive wich is the MOST important factor. and the Tshirt well isnt too secure of a holding device and as i was untying the one knot she comes out of another unexpectly.
one of the 6 other people that wanted it.
You should be thrilled. The snake arrived healthy and fine (heat packs aren't needed 99% of the time, and I told you I wouldn't be using one)
I'm out of snake bags. I've shipped in shirts like that before.... and don't try to tell me it wasn't secure because we both know it was.
Please tell me you're not satisfied and send her back.
Please.
For $500 (and I paid the shipping) you should be singing my praises... not complaining about nonsense.
Guy
I am not going to sit here and debate but I will say this, I was NOT trying to call you out as a bad guy or say you had bad animals or anything of the sort. Hence I didnt even bring your name into this thread.
I was just stating I was not please on how she was shipped. AND as I was untying the one knot she did unexpectedly come out from the otherside of where I was untying.
You don't care that people knew it was me who did those bad things? Well I care about letting others know about you and how you operate.
I sent you a snake. An expensive snake. You didn't bother to call me or email me you received it, what you thought, etc. Until I called you and emailed you. You clearly were REALLY concerned that it had no heat pack and it was shipped in a tshirt, but not concerned enough to let me know that... OR that it made it ok.
I knew it would go that way. I have a sixth sense about these things.
Do me a favor. Send me that snake back. I sold an amazing animal at an even more amazing price to someone who is clearly ungrateful.

Stunning snake.
As far as the shipping goes, I always use a heat pack if the temperatures are below 60 during transit. Small periods of colder temperatures will not adversely affect a healthy boa. As long as it is put in a nice warm enclosure at the destination, it will be fine.
As far as shipping, I like that idea of a t-shirt, but would personally get business t-shirts made up. Heck, I know a well known breeder that uses socks to ship. My only chance would be to ziplock both ends. As long as it is secure is perfectly fine.

I am pretty sure I know whom you are reffering to who uses socks, tho atleast that is only one entry and exit point. no unexpected snake coming out when untying a knot in a different area.
Please send me my animal back. I will pay the shipping back. I'll also pay for you to put it in a sock, tshirt, sack, whatever makes you happy.
Just PLEASE send me my snake back.
Popcorn enters mouth....

So, I just finished my bag of popcorn while reading all of this excitement. I was a little disappointed being left with a cliff hanger. I think we need a sequel and the story line should be what ever happened to the snake. Did Tim keep the poorly packaged creature or did he ship it back in a sock to the seller that needs to get the stick out of his.... The suspense is killing me!
