PTS price??

ericthemantis Oct 02, 2003 12:51 PM

I'm currently looking for a PAIR of PTS's, and was wondering how much I could expect to pay for one. I HAVE found some on a couple of different reptile sites, but the prices differentiated by at least 100 bucks. I prefer a CB skink, but will take whatever I can find. Thanks for the help!

Hello,

As you stated, prices do fluctate but the going rate has been averaging $ 150 for WC adults $250 for GFO's and CB's. However, the prices are beginning to rise.

Last night I just called a fairly reputable reptile dealer here in Phoenix, and they informed me that the cost of PTS's have just shot up to between $350-500 bucks! I'm assuming for CB specimens. I know I've heard that the price will be going up. I wonder if it's going up as we speak?

Hello,

As I posted above, As I have it-ALL importation of Corucia into this country from this point on-is halted. Anyone attempting to do so is subject to immediate arrest. ALL exportation out of the Solomon's has ceased. With all the logging and massive exportation with the recent Government collapse-has caused the Corucia population to collapse. With Aussie tropps in place to keep order, this stoppage should remmain in effect. From many sources in my area, I've been told prices are anticipated to rise sharply soon. As to your question, as of last week-$250 was the going rate for CB and GFO youngsters.

Sincerely,
Brian
