Chinese Softshells

Does anyone know the around how big the females get? I was under the impression that they are not small but not the hugest either. Like around 14 inch SCL.

Just wondering -- I have rescued (bought in lieu of leaving them for someone's soup pot) several from the meat market in Chinatown and was thinking of actually keeping the next few that I buy from there for myself. Just need to get a picture of the longterm enclosure requirements.

Thanks
Steve

I usually see them about 10 inches average .. probably females will be slightly larger probably about 12-13 inches.

Great!! That's what I thought. A little big but manageable for indoors.
