Very nice ball-phytons you picked up, i like the spider most!
But are you sure that this is the right place for balls?
Better contact a mod and ask for moving...

yours
Michael

CBI Nov 11, 2011 06:35 PM

Thanks Michael! I posted them as off topic pickups for the season, I see nothing wrong with sharing these guys with you all as others have displayed their pits, corns, etc in the past

First thing, you should not have a problem with NOT posting balls here, or someone asking you not to post them here.

1- people that want to see those pictures have already went to the ball python forum where you should have posted them.

2- some people don't want to see those pictures, thats why they come here.

3- If everybody thought like you do, then every forum would be filled with all kinds of snakes. Which defeats the purpose of separating the forums by breed.

Don't get me wrong. I don't mind looking at your snakes, but posting them here just don't make sence, does it?

Just wanted to let you know I have been going to your web site for some time now and I have always liked your logo. But sadly to say I just noticed blue rosy in the snake head. Yea , I know I'm slow, but that is pretty bad, don't you think?

I just flicked my finger on my iPad and picked the first post I saw. Awesome!

I have alot of animals. It takes a lot of work to do what I do. Can't keep them in racks. Well, not like a snake anyway. Plus, my daughter learned that she can play outside and that takes even more work.

The sad part is posting FL Kings here has the same response, it's pathetic really. The work and time that goes into some of the combos just gets laughed at. Thanks for the concern

John I've owned my Ball Python since 1994 and love him very much but hah I appreciate your sense of humor. After wanting a Kingsnake since back then and finally getting the Splendida last weekend I can't believe how much more interesting the King Snake is. The BP never moves unless I feed him or I am cleaning the cage, changing water etc.

I bought my first BP in 1993 for $14......
I raised it up and sold it for $100 because it was a "black back"........lol

Plus they are illegal in my city as are all boas, pythons and monitor lizards.......
So I had no choice but kings.....

It reminds me of the Angolan Pythons. You know they are very similar to the Balls, and have been mixed into some of the morphs?

I'm not an expert on ball Pythons, that's why I was asking. Didn't mean to come off insulting. Something about the look reminded me of an Angolan I once saw. There was no real underlying implication.

Those are not hybrids but are worth about the same. They are such boring snakes. Strikly's use to have a big Nile or Water Monitor that only ate baby balls. They fed him all the messed up imports. Mmmmmmm...............

The blue eyed lucy is my favorite.

I wish I could keep ball pythons but providing enough heat in the winter for this species would be too expensive.
