T Mötley Albino? What's your take?

Snakey Nov 19, 2011 11:56 AM

Last night I was at a buddy who breeds and has quite a collection. I had to decent hypo's but in his eyes were not unique althought stated they were pretty clean in terms of markings, etc.

He had been pushing for me to step it up so I took a plunge last night and got this little guy. I really like the Sunglows but he stated why not get something different and have a solid foundation so I went ahead with it.

He explained many details to me but I still need to go further in depth and do more research.

From my understanding, it is a T Mötley Albino, sound about right?

What do you think?

For some reason my phone isnt posting it as T withdrawing the positive sign nor does this site doesn't allow you to edit your posts from what I see. Been a while since ive been back as I have been a member since 2002.

So yes, this snake is, from what I understand, is a T Mötley Albino.

Thx

So can you fill me in with a few answers?

Does T positive always mean that it is an "Albino" and therefore do not need to say it is a "T positive motley albino"?

Also, as far as the colors, will the Tpositive albino become more vivid over time or will they become darker?

It is a bit tough to process as the general rule is as the snake ages, it gets darker whereas with Sunglows, many hold their vibrant colors. So how exactly does the tyrosinase affect the colors over time?

The next question is did I make the right choice? I really am attracted to the BCI Sunglow and could have gotten it but was advised that the Central Tpos motley would be a better choice as most of the sunglow varieties have already been created by multiple individuals and would give me an opportunity to work towards something new although may be quit a bit more costly

Should I have gotten the BCI Sunglow?

Thank in advance.

Yes, you should have gotten the BCI Sunglow. You should always get what you like best.

Thanks so much for your reply asI really do appreciate it. I'd also like to thank those that helped me out over the phone with some seeing my post. You guys are great.

I have made a decision.... Drum roll please...

I'm going to keep it as I have newly acquired knowledge, ideas with much more direction, and think it would be a very nice project to work on.

All I need now is to win the lottery and jump start my ideas.

Until then, all I have to do is be patient....
