Help with eco earth

cfresh79 Nov 19, 2011 08:04 PM

Okay I put the eco earth in my aquarium yesterday and it is still wet. I am in Texas and it is pretty humid so it hasn't dried. Is it okay to put the ball in there with it moist, or should I run and get something else to put in the tank and give this stuff a few days to dry?

I would use cypres mulch instead of eco earth. I use paper towel when they are still young it takes alot less time to clean and they dont need more than that. I saw in your other post you have a 100 gal. tank thats big for an adult and to big for a 6 week old. They do better in a small encloser where they feel more safe and a couple of hides helps.
