As Anthony mentioned there are a few factors and if there is something I must have I will get it even if I have to save for months for it and I will have that animal or animals! It's stressful but once I finally get that animals it's all worth it!
As David said variety I cannot just choose one specific type of morph or boa to work with there are so many and so options with both colors and patterns where it is nearly impossible to choose just one!
These are the types I work with and why.
Color:
Boawoman Caramel: Not many people work with them so I take pride in trying to make the prettiest and best looking examples to do so.
VPI Caramel: more widely kept and been selectively bred for generations large market base.
Blood/Bloody Salmon: who doesn't like a RED boa. I have picked my blood animals that I believe will stay red and not turn into a brown boa.
Hypo: very picky with hypo boas I have but if the pattern remains unaffected and they have rich red color I'm all about it!
IMG: another color mutation not many work with BUT combined with the above animals will make stunning colors not seen in boas just yet!
Pattern:
Mötley Jungle: you get the best of both worlds you get a motley pattern with a color that POPS
Jungle: the variety of pattern you can get in a litter no two jungles will be the same!
Arabesque: combined with the other colors and patterns should produce very exciting things look at the crossfades (hypo arabesque motley)
Aztec: tight patterns pastelish coloration very cool in combos
Roswell Laddertail: very cool fully connected patterned boa with a sweet super!
Hopefully soon might get into some square tail stuff as with the combos they add a lot of color and a unique look to different pattern mutations.
Love all the variety out there within the boas and not to mention the plain natural beauty of the BCI
