valid points..

DeanAlessandrini Oct 02, 2003 02:59 PM

I have to admit, bunnyhunny, that the point you made about plastic being unnatural, as well as “keeping snakes in boxes for your own amusement” is extremely valid.

Why it justifies hybrids…well, I don’t really see the connection…but…it’s valid as hell.

So…we debate that too. There are some people, even herp-loving people, who believe it’s inhumane to keep herps. In captivity void of all sensory stimulation. I admit I’ve thought hard about that.

So why do you folks get so defensive? You know we could present legitimate arguments and learn from one another if y’all didn’t get all huffy and start calling people stupid.

There is nothing stupid about either side of this debate.
You have your reasons for doing what you do,
We have reasons we don’t like it.

I’m a reasonable person.
But you just push people further in the opposite direction when you start with the personal attacks.

It occurs to me that we're a bunch of Indians (Native Americans) who refuse to cooperate with the "other" tribe. I hope the legislators don't kill our hobby before we consolidate! Shane

I am sorry. I am going to relax on this & start being the gentleman my mama raised. But remember, we are all misers of this land, & the animals are our whores. No matter how anyone wants to paint their picture. One way or another we are ALL pimps of biologic demise. From flushing your toilet to caging the beast, we all are our part, which in my view is natural to us.
