slightly OT, Candy Stripe Rainbow Boas..

rainbowsrus Nov 21, 2011 03:53 PM

One of the Super candy Stripe babies has had it's second shed. ZI-ZO-1101, now named Zeus is the male that was born with some spinal kinks. He appears to be growing just fine and the kinks are becoming less noticeable.

Zues by himself:

A tongue shot Jess took while she was over to visit:

And a series of group shots to attempt to show how really REALLY intense Zeus is compared to others...

Zeus with a normal littermate ZI-ZO-1115

Zeus with ZI-ZO-1105 and a Hypo BRB from my MI-DU litter:

Zeus with one of the MI-DU hypo babies and SA-PH-1101 (Elvis Jr):

Zeus with HA-OZ-1104, a Hypo baby and Elvis Jr:

These Candy stripe babies are WOW, So intense from birth. Everything else I have including the hypo babies and Elvis Jr simply pale in comparison.

Hi April, hope you doing well yourself!!

As you can tell I'm on cloud ninety nine, so far above the regular cloud nine.

One more had his second shed last night so they all should be having their second sheds real soon.

that snake as well as that project is so darn awsome. I have never looked twice at a rainbow boa until I laid eyes on that guy. Thanks for waking me up. Mike Panichi

Thanks Mike, it really is a dream come true. Not only did I discover a new trait (believed to be genetic but not yet proven), that trait is intense. So awesome I find myself pulling out the best individuals of my collection to compare with them and these simply blow everything else away!!!

So much so that I'm re-thinking every single project. Fun stuff!!
