Rozy weighs 246 grams now, while her four brothers weigh in at between 114 and 106 grams. She hatched out at 33 grams August 4th, her brothers at about 28 grams each shortly thereafter. Not only is she so much bigger, she is much tamer, content to sit in my hand for the photo. Soon she will be needing both hands, though! LOL! Her brothers are following the growth rate of the parents. I don't know what the deal is with Rozy. She is so different than any of the brothers or her parents.

She sure is! Just wait til next year! At the rate she is growing she will be bigger than her parents are now. Oddly, one of her brothers is sort of runty; and is still only eating small fuzzies while the others are eating big crawlers to almost weans. He isn't a big eater, either, and is timid, so when I feed him he has to have complete privacy. I guess he is my special needs child.

That is a beautiful garbage disposal! You probably have a potential giant there. Very nice!

I am hoping to obtain a male like this for her as a future mate. I have nothing to mate her to, as the only other bulls I have are her father and her brothers, and I wish to out breed for vigor.
