not putting on weight????

pinkypie Nov 28, 2011 03:40 PM

I got a batch of non eating baby corns three months ago.All were non eaters and I got them eating after a bit of trouble and patience, only losing one due to an injury.
But I have one that although is eating like the others just doesnt seem to be growing, she has shed twice but I cant see any difference and she hasnt put on any measurable weight in grams. She started out at 4 grams 3 months ago and is still 4 grams.Ive bumped her up to two small pinks every other feed depending on how soon I feed her.
I dont have the best scale so Im hoping that she has put on a small amount of weight, maybe a half gram.

Like I said I was hoping if I bumped him p to two tiny pinks he would start growing. But yesterday he regurged (a first in 3 months) so I think 2 is too much.

Two may be OK if you offer more heat. But if 1 works well then go with that.

OI was given 5 babies that were non eaters all very small. One died from an internal injury/infection at the umbilical site, the other three are all doing great except this one.Its a really nice looking anery stripe. But no matter how often I feed her she just looks like a toothpick. She is putting absolutely no weight on.Ive got another that was exactly the same size, same type of bin, same heat, same food but she has grown and she is much thicker..The little anery is just straight stick with that triangular shape of starvation.

Could there be some internal problem? She poops alot compared to the others too, lots of little piles all over the bin even with one pink. But the poop looks normal and doesnt smell any worse then any others. I really cant see it being parasites.Shes eaten the same food as the others...IDK I just dont hold alot of hope for this girl.
