Hey Nick,

GerardS Nov 28, 2011 08:17 PM

Here are my CH brooksi from down where yours came out of.

This is the mom that was caught gravid.

This is a WC male from the same area.

These are the four babies that hatched from her clutch.

This ones in shed but I took pics now while cleaning.

That 123 line doesn't beat my musketeer line. Why are you scared to post the pimp balls you said you have. So far it's all stuff that's been around forever. Weak!

That locality "MUSKATEER" line is killer man!

You could develop a "1-2-3 Muskateer" line later on too..

But it's the 456 line. Really pure brooksi. No het for black rats in those.

That those are pure brooksi and have never been crossed with the northern floridana. Trying!

Is that to say that all brooksi are of a single local?

This is just me but I thought that local status was lost once you can no longer trace a snake back to wild caught founders. I can hardly imagine this being the case with some of the multi morphs floating around. Not impossible just unlikely.

To me a brooksi is from a very specific locale. Even within dade county they are very specific. I do not consider the animals to the north of the county to be brooksi. Even though very light ones come out of there and very dark ones can come from the south. As for the morphs I have no idea. I hope they are but I dont think so.

I thought the original pic was listed as some type of locality multi morph. That's why it confused me.

All of the snakes I posted were wild snakes from extreme south dade county. Rainers snake that Jeremy posted is 3 floridana morphs in one.

This is another WC female from way south dade. Awesome brooksi look.

This male is from farther north Miami dade. Looks more floridana.

I thought the original pic was listed as some type of locality multi morph

It is.

The 3 morphs i used to create it were all original stock from S. Dade co.

3 morphs in one. 100% dade county brooksi. To me that makes it waaay more interesting than most any snake on here or anywhere else.

That adult female is real nice! Not "patternless", but her coloration is great!

The first baby in the group looks like he's going to grow up to be a smoker. The others could turn out nice too.
