How many different locales are you guys breeding? They seem to be very distinct from each other.

How's the ghost gentiles doing now? Did you keep that one?

Gerard
"I am the one that hides the universal secret of all time"
you mean this one?

I am not working on this gentilis project anymore. Ryan Hoyer has the ghost and Jimmy T has the adult double hets and hatchling anery and possible double het hatchlings.
Ryan has an albino gentilis so look out for snow gentilis in a few years.

Dell and I are currently working with about a dozen localities of multistrata, but there may be a few more out there.
Here's a freshly-shed Cherry Co., Nebraska animal from the "Blazing" line that I photographed at Hardwick's house a couple of years ago:

I've been very busy this year, and haven't posted in a while, and I'm afraid you all would kick me of the milkforum if I didn't respond to this post, soooo here ya go.
Cole is right, there are a number of locality to work with. Here are a few.
Cherry County, NE.

.

.

This is one of the better Cherry Co., we've come across.

This one not as nice, but a great multistrata to work with none the less.

Thomas County, NE.

.

Pennington County, SD. Very hard to find in the hobby, but worth the work to find.

Stillwater County, MT.

Bighorn County, MT.

.

Carbon County, MT.

That's just a few, and should keep you busy thinking about what locality to work with.

That last cherry is awesome! The Bighorn animals I have to have and the Stillwater is new to me but very cool looking.
I have seen some of your fishing posts before. I don't know which one looks more fun, milking or fishing?!?!
I almost picked up the fly rod on this school of Permit but I didn't want to risk it. There were over 200 fish in front of me. Next time I will go for it first.

That Permit is awesome. I've never caught one before, I had a shot at one once, well not really, it didn't even look at the fly I cast at it. But I did cast "TO" it.
One fish, two fish, Red fish blue fish. This one has a little star, this one has a little car. Say, what a lot of little fish there are.

Glad you like these Bighorn County animals, and not easy to come by either. Maybe a few forum members will come in here and show off their Bighorn animals. I'd love to see how they're doing.

.

Here's a Yellowstone Co. Pale that Cole works with.

And we also work w/ many Stillwater animals too. All for now. -Dell

That was my first permit. We were working that shoreline trying to catch tarpon. I look up and there is 200 black tails right in front of me. I made my cast and the line got tight then bam:

It was the only time I was mad to see one of these jump. I tried to break it off and ended up having to land it green. Took a quick pic, retied and we ended up getting four before we lost them. We each kept saying I'm going to try one on fly but I will have to try it next time. I didn't want to miss the lifers. Pretty awesome day. Snook, tarpon, permit.
The big horns are my favorites I think. It's hard to pick though.

Dell, that first and forth snake are siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!!!!!!!!!! OMG. So, as soon as I learn a little self control and reduce my current collection, I will be calling you guys from some of those cherry counties!!
Those Thomas Co. individuals are quite attractive!
