John, I wish she was a calico Taiwan - but there are no known mutations in that sub yet...

Thanks for cooling them again...

Toby, just do like so many others in this hobby do, and let it breed with a Taiwan Beauty. Then in another couple generations you will instantly have some true-blue authentic calico "Taiwan" Beauties that you can type onto the deli cup label.

(sarcasm)..

Unfortunately, I think some folks out there are already working on that, Doug. I see lots of "what kind of beauty is this" at places like The Ratsnake Foundation - and the snake in question looks like it is probably mocquardi x friesi x t. taeniurus!

yep!,..I saw some of that same stuff over there on the Ratsnake Foundation just recently myself Toby. I saw yours and Randy Whittington's posts there too as a matter of fact..LOL!

Sadly there is a long laundry-list of many different types of snakes that are being abominated just like that everywhere now days.

I couldn't count how many times over the years I've seen a mismarked beauty snake at shows. The most common I see is a t. taeniura listed as a taiwan beauty (t. friesi). The second most common is a blue beauty listed as a taiwan blue beauty. They wont change it 90% of the time when I tell them what it is or where it's really from.

Yeah man, I hear ya there Randy. Sort of destined to become the Asian "bubblegum" ratsnakes of the hobby with only a few exceptions.......geeeez!

BTW, killer thayeri there bro!..

I do that with online ads sometimes, Randy - and I have gotten similar responses. Beauties are few and far between at shows here in Texas - but (when present) it is a 50% possibility that they will be labeled correctly...
