About to introduce a breeding pair...

My plan was to put my male in with my female on Dec 1st. But when I was cleaning her cage last night I noticed she was in blue. Now If I pair them up now I will probably miss the POS. Do you guys think I should wait till she sheds until I intoduce? Also right after she sheds I plan on giving her a large meal. Does this seem okay? Any advice?
