Pretty much have the breeding groups defined, now it's time to shuffle the collection around to more or less match the 2012 plan. Of course the two females in a breeding trio will need to be in adjacent cages to be able to allow the trio to share two cages. I also shuffle the rest of the collection around to help facilitate breeding. All the males being used and any backup animals male and female will have to be grouped together to make sure all animals I'm using for breeding go through the cooling cycle. Also I arrange the males in order facilitate pulling the males for feeding and then re-introducing them back to their respective female(s) later.

Is a LOT of work but when breeding season starts, all will be ready to go.

Basic process for me is to define where everyone currently is and where they are going to. Then empty an entire breeding cage stack into 8 individual sweater box tubs. Now those 8 slots are available to clean and prep for 8 "new" occupants. Those come from various locations including the 8 just pulled females. If any of the ultimate locations for those 8 are available, clean they are cleaned and put away. Then repeat the process for the next breeding cage stack. Plans are to relocate 65 adult BRB's by the time I'm done.

The worst part is for a while after I'm done, I have no idea in my mind where many of them are. Yes I have a list and can ultimately find them but can't just walk in the room and go straight to Tink's cage for example.
