Breeder loan

kevinsoahc Dec 04, 2011 06:05 PM

I am looking for someone to loan me male Ball to breed to my 1100 and 2054 gram normal females.

I breed Tarantulas and know the protocol is a 50/50 split,is it the same for snakes? This will be my first time breeding balls.

So far I only breed crotalus.

Thanks,Kevin

deals....

great way to lose friends...
great way to feel uneasy and distant about the whole breeding thing to begin with

males....cheap...even adults.....save money and get what you want...or what you can for now to get you closer...

snake breeding ...it's a solitary hobby....trust me....

Agreed 100%...just buy your own male...500 grams or bigger...and produce your own...no ties to anyone else and you are in complete control of the outcome.

Many people do breeding loans including myself. I know many successful bigger breeders whom also do breeding loans. Be sure its someone you can trust!

Good luck!

I have never done a loan but have swapped out males with people I know and trust. This way we each get what we get from our females. There is no trying to split clutches or holdbacks.

As a breeder, I don't need more normals! The normals I produce
from codom pairings go to the petstore. Buy a male, it would
not cost you much.
