Gonzo aka Zaftig

pyromaniac Dec 08, 2011 06:13 PM

My 08 Pacific female at 1176 grams.

Zaftig: Having a full, shapely figure. I think she qualifies on this count! LOL! So I am now calling her Zaftig, instead of Gonzo( a name she got when I thought she was a male.)

That snake is AWESOME and very colorful. Never seen one with that much yellow.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I took this photo in late morning sun to try to show her colors to the most accurate.

That is IMPRESSIVE! ...gives me a little hope that if a natural can get that yellow, then maybe my wtf ruthveni is pure afterall

If I had your ruthveni I would not worry overmuch about his "purity". He looks like the real deal to me (after looking at lots of ruthveni photos both wild and cb). The only sure fire way to guarantee purity is with DNA analysis, which is pretty expensive. My motto is if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

Thanks Bob, well, not quite sure it looks like a duck ...that's that issue. Thing is, if it's puro, then I would breed him. Otherwise, just one beast of a pit.

He's so much fun at feeding time ...he goes nuts and throws the f/t rodent around and coils frantically ...as if enjoying the fight ...kind of like a cat playing with a mouse. I just take him out on my bed, drag the rat around to tease him, then let him "catch" it. I need to get video
