anyon feel SFMK are NOT a calligster???

since its been brought up below... does anyone feel they are wrongly classified as a calligaster? and if so, why?

I've never seen the two in person, but as far as I know the SFMK has not been elevated to full species status. Until that happens, the majority of people will probably recognize it as a subspecies, but with taxonomy its always debatable. I've seen this kind of stuff debated to no end on FHF.

Gerard makes a good point with his CNAH retort.

This would be important to his argument.
it does not intergrade nor exchange genes.

With that said, I'm fine with Lampropeltis calligaster occipitolineata.

The funny thing is he has never even had one to form a opinion. To me they are different. That is just my opinion. One that some people dont share but for me, in my mind, it works.

I agree, that animal Doug had was awesome. That came from a WC female. I would kill to have that animal now.
