>>Yu have to many of those granites. You should send so over here.

Actually I only have 1.1 adult ultras and 1.1 2011s that would be considered ultra granites...........but I do have a good sized group of granites or animals from the granite line.

I have been contemplating if I should breed my ultra male to my ultra female again next year.......I really want to go ahead and cross my Hypo-E male with my ultra granite female to see if I can get some hypo-e granites then eventually some hypo-e ultras.....

But I will be pairing up my ultra granite male with a granite female I got from Don Shores and a granite line male to a sibling sister to the granite girl that I got from Don Shores.....maybe they will throw some granites or maybe even an ultra if I'm lucky......

Then I have some black x granites that may throw some granites that'll turn black......

Here's most of my Mex Mex plans for next year:

Males                               Females
Black Phase                     Hypo-E

Hypo-E                             Ultra Granite

Granite Line                     Granite Line

Ultra Granite                    Granite

Burgundy                         Granite (Aztec)

Black X Granite               Black X Granite
                                        Black Split-band

Hypo-E Line Striped        Hypo-E Line Striped
                                        Split-band

Classic Line                     Classic Line

Classic Wild Blood         San Antonio Zoo Stock

I think I need to hire a helper next Summer.......

Yeah, sounds like you will need help for all that. I'm sure you spend all your time taking care of them.

>>Genesis 1:1

She has a classic look but is atypical of a classic female.....those bright colors are more typical of males......but she is the result of a black phase male and a "het" for hypo-e female.......I believe the hypo-e gene really brightens her colors up well.......and I don't believe shell turn black or pink, but some of her future offspring may.......

The true classics are pictured just above her.......

Thanks Jorge.....As you may know....I take pride in my Mex Mex.
Long ago and in the mid 90s they were popular in the hobby....then they kinda died down but I kept wanting them. When I rebuilt my collection in 2008 (until now...ongoing) I wanted to get the best of the best.....With lots of work and some help from Mr. Shannon Brown and others I think we have put together the most diverse collection of UNtainted mex mex......All have great lineage and are a blast to work with.

They certainly keep it interesting for me and I don't see myself ever to be jaded with them......

Now, with the new looks that are on the horizon the possibilities seem almost endless....But I think I am the ONLY one that sees this....LOL

BTW....I will be able to hook lots of folks up next year with "designer" mex mex WITH lineage......as I plan on breeding 9.11 next year.....We'll see how many actually lay fertile eggs that hatch.....
