First witnessed copulation!!!

IkeLightner Dec 15, 2011 01:09 PM

Hey forum, this is my third season breeding BRBs and this morning I finally witnessed my first tail wrap ever!!! ( they've obviously been getting it done without my watchful eye) but today I finally saw them in action. Very interesting!!!!

I snapped two pics, really did not want to bug the happy couple. First pic is through the glass and is really hard to see much. Second pic I opened the cage for.

I first spotted them at 8:45 this morning, as of 1:00 pm they are still wrapped up and slowly making their way towards the back corner of the cage. Go SULTAN!!!! Getting the job done hopefully!!!

Congrats, On those that are not secretive about it I typically witness 3 - 4 tail wraps during the mating season. As few as one, as many as 12.

Grats on the tail wrap! My Dumerils Boas have been getting busy lately, and I'm planning on pairing up my BRBs in January. It's definitely that time of year
