2011 Zebra Stripes - updated pics.....

rainbowsrus Dec 16, 2011 12:03 PM

In 2011 I produced several litters of Pearl on Pearl babies. Two of which were sired by the same male Biwa. in both of those litters there were babies with dorsal to lateral pattern connections that I'm calling Zebra striped. Is it genetic, I can't say for sure it is even though I think it almost has to be with the trait showing up in two separate litters and in both cases the qty's more or less fit the het x het recessive pair model - 1/4 visual offspring.

Note: all my original Pearl animals were from one single litter so all are related.

Some of the standout babies.....

Kevin, AU-BI-1102

AU-BI-1103

Giselle, AU-BI-1110

AP-BI-1101

Ap-BI-1102

Thanks for looking.
