Albino x Sunglow

HerpVenue Dec 17, 2011 02:15 AM

Has anyone ever done Albino x Sunglow? What were the results?

Or should I just do Albino x DH Sunglow?

Is it not advisable? I just wanted to see the official results. But if someone has already tried it, then nevermind. I guess I am just curious to see if the albino x albino gene does yield some weaker animals or what not.

yes, this breeding is done relatively frequently. Albinos are much more outcrossed these days then they were in the past.

good luck!

Last year I paired an Albino Motley female to a male Moonglow and got 23 slugs and 3 live babies. And 2 of the babies died in the first 24 hrs. So all in all I got one Sunglow 100% het anery baby.

Ive done it many times with great success.

You get all yellow snakes, and thats better.

I did that breeding in 2010 using a Coral Sunglow x Lipstick Albino. 24 babies 4 slugs. 12 Sunglows and the rest were Coral Albinos. All beautiful and healthy.

Just as I thought.
I figured animals were crossed enough. Good to know
