Paradox Northern Pinesnake

JayJacoby Dec 19, 2011 05:44 PM

Hi,

I came across this picture online. Produced by a guy named Jim from home grown herps (hghjim) This snake is awesome!

Interested in hearing more about this snake. Anyone breeding these? Anyone know Jim? I tried emailing him for more info, and see if he bred these again, but the email bounced back to me.

Any info would be great.

I actually held that snake one year in Daytona at HGH's table. It was very nice! Jim used to vend there, but from what I know, he no longer does the HGH business.

Jim received it in a trade, and I myself have never seen anything like it. I have heard of them, but that is the only one I have personally seen.

Very pretty snake, and I would love to find one someday!

Jim Keenan, Home Grown Herps, had truly excellent snakes. He had great stuff, mostly North American colubrids. His pine snakes were gorgeous. I bought a pair of black pines from him that I would not sell for the world. Hatched in 2009, but well over 5.5' just two years later. My only regret is that I did not buy more from him. He had a clutch of Spring Green, Wisconsin locality bull snakes for sale and I kick myself for not picking some up. The last I saw Jim Keenan he was selling pilstrom tongs, hooks, field guides and stuff like that, but no live animals.
