I received my copy of Understanding Reptile Parasites by Roger J. Klingenberg DVM yesterday. On page 162 there is a photo of an adult penstastomid worm from a gaboon viper. This was the first thing I saw when I opened the book. Talk about bad dreams last night!

Anyway, this is a great book and I am very happy to have it, albeit some of the photos are disgusting...whew...

You should see the color pics in Dr. Douglas Mader's "Reptile Medicine and Surgery" Second Edition... Great book, and well worth the $100 plus price tag...
