I hate that every forum or "outlet" for reptile enthusiasts has turned into an operation ran by Sesame St. or the Disney Channel....I've seen so much crap on this site and Fauna (which sucks ten-fold more than KS) and it simply drives me nuts...I have been neck-deep in the reptile hobby for over 25yrs and I simply love this hobby and am amazed at how far it has come since the "old days".... but it's turning into a hobby ran by nazis that march to the beat of political correctness (yes I acknowledge the irony of using nazi and political correctness in the same reference)........the bull[bleep] is annoying and I dont give a [bleep] if anybody dislikes my language....I love my reptiles and and this hobby but as long as the forums on here and Fauna are being ran by the moderators who wave their finger in disapproval like little [bleep]es, THEY CAN KISS MY ASS....anybody dislike my potty mouth can kiss my ass....There, that should do the trick....
Disclaimer: This rant is not due to any moderation of my comments here or elsewhere. I've received a few infractions and/or warnings but that's besides the point....well, maybe...Either way, if this were a daycare I'd watch my language but its not so I wont....I welcome others to condemn my actions.

Precisely....I go on a rant and the damn website moderates my language and inserts little {Bleep}....Bull $h1t! Allow me to dial it down and use pre-school language for the ultra sensitive...I'll try to use "feeling" words too....

You are right on with this post, stop babying america we would all be better off. let people stand up for themselves, if you sign on here and can post comment to other people and you get attacked DEAL WITH IT CRY BABY. thats what these sites are about getting info and being able to debate subjects. Thanks for this thread great topic.
It was not always like this.....
I remember I used to fight with people and there were some serious exchanges here. It was fun in many ways. Lots of debating and drama for sure.
THe other side is that Kingsnake was terrorized by the cry babies that complained to them how can you allow this and that. Some even threatened to sue them and these threats were not mild..... started crying discrimination and such. It took a while but Kingsnake had to start having a stricter moderation level.
If they had their way they would not have to moderate. It's easier and cheaper for them not to moderate..... so here we are, sterile and a shadow of its former self.
Fauna...... I was moderated recently for the mere notion about talking about Dish Soap instead of the exact nature of the post....

I was so busy with other stuff I never went there...
I think it is better when it is not my Forum.....
I like to fix others people's things...but not my own kind of thing.
I have been taking the time to keep Facebook updated and that works pretty well for us.... There was a period of time were I did not go online much and just kind of blinked out as some people may have noticed...
They actually thought I was done.... NERD is "old news"...I was just stocking up on souls....
and when I came back some people noticed...
During this time i let the forums just die... they need attention just like a plant!
