THERE IS THIS HUGE BLACK THING COMING OUT OF MY TURTLE'S TAIL. SOMETIMES THE TURTLE SEEMS FINE WHEN IT COMES OUT, BUT A FEW TIMES WHEN IT HAS CAME OUT (THE BLACK THING)MY TURTLE GETS VERY EXCITED AND RUNS AS IF SOMETHING IS BITING IT. IS THIS A MAJOR PROBLEM? IS THE TURLTE IN PAIN?

might just be his penis in which case everything is fine so long as it doesn't stay out for a long time or get bitten by another turtle.
It also might be a leech in which case you have a serious problem
a picture would probably help.
