Well I am a bit confused on this one. She is 4 years old and 4foot. Her colors
are bright red and intense. I was thinking possible blood but the breeder I got her from(as a baby) says he never had any blood in his line.
Here is a picture of her color.

Now this is a baby I produced from her sister. He is starting to display some of the same color.

Any opinions???

That color is crazy, I need more back ground ? They're hypo's but wow that color is intense.

I wonder if it's a dominant color trait ?????

You say you produced that male using the sister , does the sister exhibit intense color?

If the sister doesn't exhibit intense color , it's not Dominant providing the male
used doesn't exhibit intense color.

Is the male used related in any way ?

If related it could be recessive color . . . . . this is interesting.

I suppose it could be regular polygenic color. . . . Add color to color and the color is compounded !

I would Luv to add more color like that around here !

The red female and the sister were produced from breeding triple het to triple het.
The sisters baby that is starting to show the color was produced
from a albino het snow(unrelated)breed to her.
The sister shows no extreme coloring.
When the red one was young she was a pale brown and didn't start coloring up until she was 18months of age.
There were 2 calicos produced in the original litter with the 2 sisters. I think this may have some thing to do with the color.

Any way it is a fun project and hopefully I can reproduce her intense coloring.
