built terrariums and uth??..

does anyone have any ideas on how to use a uth, with a wooden built cage? im planning on having a lamp from the top, but id really like to be able to use uth... any ideas??

well what type of wood are you using, how big of a cage. i use under tank heating just fine with my wood cages just as a normal cage. I think a 30 gallon would be cheaper though.

dimensions are somewhere around 4'x2'x18". The wood is very thick and a uth wouldnt get through the bottom of the wood (if thats what you meant).

I was thinking maybe cutting a space in the floor of the cage, placing the pad over it and maybe placing an appropriately sized piece of glass/plexi.. not sure tho?

Why not just buy 30 gallon and a plexi glass lid and drill some holes in it?

I build wood cages but use very thin particle board for the bottoms.
