hybino Honduran

DMong Jan 03, 2012 03:46 PM

I haven't posted any pics of her in quite a while. Here is the female proven hybino (hypo x amel) 100% het anery that I acquired from Rusty Green back in late 2010.

This is a photo Rusty took of her through her egg "window" as she was still in her egg at Rusty's place to the right along with her other nice assorted morph siblings.

And here is a pic of her taken the other day here at my place. Thanks again Rusty for the sweet girl!..

Can't wait to introduce her to my adult hypo, het amel/anery (snow) male that I also got from Rusty a good while back.

They will produce some incredible morph combinations.....Here are the theoretical possibilities when paired together.

Offspring are predicted to be...

25.00%, Amelanistic, Hypomelanistic (hybino), Het for Anery
25.00%, Hypomelanistic, Het for Snow
12.50%, Snow, Hypomelanistic (triple homozygous pearl/opal)
12.50%, Ghost, Het for Amel
12.50%, Amelanistic, Hypomelanistic (hybino)
12.50%, Hypomelanistic, Het for Amel

cheers, ~Doug

Very nice. Rusty always has a wonderful variety in his clutches!
I may have to get in on them one of these days.

Super nice, Doug! I got a sweet little hybino gal from him this year. She's a real looker, too! Rusty's got some awesome snakes, doesn't he?!

Here's a photo of Dell being awesome (taken by Jose Ole) that I do not believe has ever been posted on this forum.

That's right Cole, he did mention that you have one of those bad boys he produced recently.....that's awesome!

You'll have to post it sometime when you get a chance.

Mine is far more brilliant than the photo depicts, but oh well..LOL!

HAHA!!,.....Dell has the........"what!, you talkin' to ME!!?" Clint Eastwood look going on there with the cigar...

Smoking animal you have there Doug. The offspring possibilities look pretty awesome as well. Genetics----all I know about them is that I have no genetic power. My daughter is a spitting image of her mother (thank goodness), with my temper--not good

That is a sweet hybino, Doug. Very crisp and clean. And het anery to boot! That will be a great paring this year for you. Looking forward to your pics of the eggs pipping from that clutch!

Thanks a bunch Dave!

Yeah, she is vivid and colorful as all heck in person compared to the pic, but she won't be of breeding size until the following year for going in with the big male I have planned for her. I have very high hopes for that pairing when the day does come though..

Rusty, what's with the tricolor hypo in that pic? It looks like its got a couple month jump on the rest of those hatchlings.

RG Jan 18, 2012 10:18 AM

Most of the neonates were from different clutches, it was over 5 years ago so I'm fuzzy on the exact details. The tricolor and the Snow/Triple are from the same clutch, both males.
