been there done that for years before....
I actually would use a tarp and open a window in the cold room side...mouse side was too warm for brumation...lazy years...turns out colubrids breed anyways...

anyways....

make the slit for you to walk next time by using 2 sheets of plastic overlapped...better slit...better seal...

the heater...space heater...3 foot clearance all around...you can have the rear closer than 3 foot...but yours looked too close in rear...didn't see front...do not burn plastic or your house....

other than that...good luck...all works...!!!!

in early 90's...Paul Miles at Boa Barn actually made incubator ROOM like that in the center of his barn....clear plastic room at 89 degrees....walk-in 'bator...we all want one...

....have fun

Actually if you look there is about a 2 foot or so slit overlap so there is a good seal.

The space heater has a good three foot clearance aroudn the front but i agree they are close in the back...I only have it set at 78 and its on its own thermostat so its not on to much....I will space it out better though

Thanks for your thoughts
