My new Andean female i got from scott ballard. she's 2 months old and 14 inches long. very pretty. I'm very pleased and hopes she stays this pretty. she is also very calm. hasn't musked on me or bit me one time since i got her. what do you think?

I think that is a VERY nice looking genuine L.t.andesiana you picked up from Scott!

If I remember correctly, I think Scott picked those up from a very good mutual friend of ours from south Florida..

have fun with that one!

Clarification.......meant to say the PARENTS of your snake were probably from our mutual friend, but I know Scott has also had several nice andesiana in his collection as well..

Very nice indeed, congrats on picking it up! Scott is a great guy to work with and never a doubt that what you get from him is always the "real deal".

Congrats again, hope you enjoy it for many years.

Looks real nice. And sounds like a real sweetie. Do you have a male already or is that in the future?

no i don't have a male yet.... i thought about getting a pair but since I've hadn't had any type of pet for the past 6 yrs because i was in military (lived in barracks), i figured id start slow and i don't have the knowledge or experience to breed. i would really like too in the future though. Ill either get a male to breed with her or ill just get a different breed all together (i think my next one will be black milk).

You realize that if you get a Black Milk (great choice btw)instead of a mate for that Andean... you will down the road just "need" to get a mate for each of them... so you'll have 4 snakes... and if you have 4... what's two more really... time to start thinking just what snakes numbers 5 & 6 will be
