PLEASE HELP!!

A friend of mine from school has always wanted a box turtle. She is supposed to be an animal lover but she won't listen to anything I say. The other day her B/F found a boxie on the side of the road. It is probably 4-6 year old. Instead of moving it off the road he took it home with him and gave it to her. I told her she should take it back and she told me she wasn't going to because she always wanted one. She doesn't know how to care for it and she thinks and aquarium is good enough for a home. Is there a site that will help me explain to her why she shouldn't keep this turtle, or if she refuses to listen to that how to properly care for the boxie. Something very simple because obviously she is getting what I am telling her.
Thanks
Brittany

The easiest way to break the lines of communication is to try and tell someone what to do or come down on someone because they do not share your beliefs. Accept that there are some things that you cannot control but if you handle it right you can have an influence and how much of an influence (good or bad) is the key.
That said... here are some sites that are good starting points.
