noticed there was some blood in a shed of one of the snakes here, what could have caused that and also i have a young sonoran gopher snake(not the one just mentioned) that may need a new enclosure soon, so out of curiosity at what length/size do you move up snakes from a 20gal to a 50gal?

Does it look like this? Sometimes there will be tiny bit of blood from the hemipenises or scent glands but it is not a problem.

I like to give my snakes a cage long enough for the snake to fully stretch out in.

no, it looked like it was some sort of cut/injury and he bleed a bit, it was about penny to nickel sized and seemed to be darker than what you showed, afterwards the snake looked fine.
