thank you for this- much appriciated
fragmented pushes such as this are unlikely to do any good. This is the third petition I've seen. None of them have been worth the few seconds I took to read them - they're not written very well.
This is why an organization such as USARK is so vital to our industry. They have the power and intellect to put together a proper petition (if they feel one would be effective) and gain tens of thousands of signatures. And, they don't spread these efforts out over weeks and months with huge gaps between pushes. Those gaps give plenty of time for the issue to subside.
Basically, little petitions like this are like the waves on a beach. Yes, those waves can change the landscape a little and are always reshaping things - but they don't do much MAJOR change. Petitions like USARK could put together would be like a tidal wave. Tidal waves wreak havoc on what has historically been a peaceful area.

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously

truth.
add to that how the people who MATTER don't give a CRAP about petitions on "change.org". in fact i'd bet my next few paychecks that they don't even see it. i don't mean to bash it, but it's the truth.
thanks for the perspective, jb.
