How long does it take for a beardie to get used to a new hammock? Velcro doesn't want anything to do with it.

I've never heard of one that doesn't like it. If you put it on the cool end, they don't spend alot of time in that area anyway.

Mine just love their hammocks. Place the hammock on the basking side as a spot where the dragon can relax, and bask at the same time. Does the dragon have easy access to it? Try angling a branch against it so when the dragon climbs the branch it reaches the big hammock to lounge on.Some young dragons won't jump on themselves. I'm sure yours will get use to it. Mine lay on it to bask and go under it for shade. Mine like it pulled tight so it does not wrap in around them when they are in the middle. I never bought from Christy, but would of if she offered hammocks for the extra super large adult dragons to fit their whole bodies and fat heads on, and a way to fasten them to melamine, or wood. I've since made some of my own for my big guys and gals with special clips so I can put them on my melamine tanks without putting holes through them. These are not for sale, just for my special dragons only who don't fit on the normal hammocks that are made. Christy if you would like to know how I fastened them to the melamine, I would be more then happy to let you use the design for your hammocks, and for your customers with melamine, or wood enclosures as well. Just ask. It was the only reason I could not purchase from you, and I would have loved to pay you the money then someone else who doesn't give a damn about the animals using them. Matt
