jani highlights 2012

I thought I outta start 2012's posts off with a 1st sneak peak into my secret vault

First up this 2011 Red Male, the reddest baby I've ever hatched in 10 years of production.
I reckon this little fella thinks he's a Kingsville sayi LOL

Next up 2011 'reduced' male.

close up's nicely illustrates the 'reduced' sides/flanks.

This reduction in melanin (black pigment) effect first popped up in 2010 when I hatched a single Female with an 'odd' look.
2011 season I hatched another single example, the male above. The pics also nicely show the dramatic colour change in one year

2010 female mentioned above.

Last up my 2010 black striper.

with flash.

Thanks for Lookin' and Happy 2012.

AL

Beautiful babies! Thanks for sharing!

Here's my "class of 2011" highlights. They're all clutchmates.

This little girl has one of the cleanest patterns.

This boy hatched extremely faded, and is turning into one of the orangest of the bunch.

This boy has some great orange coming in too.

She's showing a bit of everything; orange up front, yellow towards the middle, white tail.

And she's remaining more or less black and white, with a lot of speckling.

I'm giving my girls a year off this year, focusing on raising up the youngsters I have, and dealing with life 'stuff'.

I know it's an old thread, but here's a recent picture of my Jani.
A female from Al's 2010 hatchlings.

A very shy and gentle snake that has made me re think about things after getting a bit complacent over the years.
